Sue Clark

Professor of chemistry Sue Clark, left, is part of a research team (one of 11 university-led teams nationwide) selected to conduct cooperative research projects under the DOE’s Nuclear Energy Research Initiative (NERI). These studies engage professors and students in advanced nuclear fuel cycle research and development in support of the Global Nuclear Energy Partnership (GNEP)—an important part of the U.S. Energy Act—and the American Competitiveness Initiative.

Dr. Clark is involved in numerous national and international service activities. She has served as a consultant to the Nuclear Energy Agency of France, the Korean Atomic Energy Research Institute, and the Battelle Memorial Institute. Dr. Clark also
serves on the National Research Council’s Nuclear and Radiation Studies Board.
