Atmospheric Policy Trajectory
The Laboratory for Atmospheric Research (LAR) is implementing a new approach to graduate student education and research training through a science- and policy-based internship with classes that offer graduate students a unique opportunity to further enhance the usual research dissertation experience. This new Atmospheric Policy Trajectory (APT) program will give each participating graduate student a strong foundation in atmospheric science with related instruction in environmental public policy. The program prepares graduates to become leaders in industry and government, and to undertake the public policy challenges associated with future air quality and climate change.
