Our mission
“Clean technology” is a rapidly emerging investment area defined as products, services, and processes that harness renewable materials and energy sources while dramatically reducing the use of natural resources, emissions, and wastes. Washington State University is committed to partnering with the clean-technology sector to find innovative solutions for supplying energy and improving environmental quality.
Initiatives at this public research institution span the wide range of disciplines involved in clean technology. University scholars conduct creative research, implement educational programs for graduate and undergraduate students, and apply knowledge to solve problems and create economic opportunity in the Pacific Northwest and throughout the world.
